Very specific!
On 23rd February 2012, I was going to meet my cousin as he was going to introduce me to a friend of his who was selling a car. That was a Ford Mondeo and the price was really low. I had a Citroen Xantia before which had given me a lot of headaches and I was so excited to move on.
With my wife and our two children, we travelled over two hours to meet them. My son was only four months. Eventually I was happy with the car. My cousin’s friend had done the MOT the same day so we signed the papers, handed the money and after a quick coffee we started our journey back home.
I had to drop my cousin to his house which added another hour to our journey.
After two hours of drive I was really tired and thought it’s not wise to drive that much in the same day with the kids. My wife was following me in her car and we still had to drive over one hour to reach home and it was around 10pm already.
We decided to stop at a hotel, to have some food and we would continue the following day. After dinner we all fell asleep very quickly.
“very vivid”
During that night I had a dream which is still very vivid. In that dream I saw myself in the kingdom of heaven. I could hear many voices praising the Lord together. Then I heard a voice saying, “I am in the Father and the Father is in Me”.
I knew it was Jesus speaking as I recognize his words. Then shortly after that I saw Jesus walking. Then shortly after I was next to him walking side by side. We were holding each other as we were walking.
Then I told him: “Jesus, how am I doing?”. I did not know how I was doing and I wanted to hear what he was thinking about me. He told me: “You are good but you doubt too much!”. Then he told me “I want you to take care of the church of Pontault” then I woke up.
I was so excited!!! The Lord himself had spoken to me and he was very specific. I knew from that time that I should not doubt and that I had to take care of the church of Pontault.
Pontault is a city in east of Paris. 45mn from Paris by train. Around 38 000 inhabitants. It’s real name is Pontault-Combault but usually people call it Pontault.
I started to check online if there was another Pontault but I did not find any, at least in France. I tried different spelling but Pontault-Combault was the only one I found.
“Investigations”
This dream literally changed my perspective. I knew that I had to take care of the church of Pontault because the Lord said so but I did not know how to start.
Three days after the dream, I decided to go to Pontault wich was at one hour and half from our house. I went to a Baptist church and was praying the Lord to speak to me again but I did not hear anything from him.
The following week, I went to another church (a lutherian) still in Pontault but I did not hear anything else from the Lord. I was not sure about what to do so I shared this with a brother of my church and he told me that sometimes the Lord gives dream but they come to pass later in your life.
I had a bit of peace, knowing that it was not the time and I was not ready to take care of a church. Five months after this dream I moved to Belfast. My wife and kids joined me by the end of 2012. At the time I am writing this post, we are still in Belfast but every day we are closer to this mission in Pontault than the day before. I know we are in a preparation time!
The Lord speaks through dreams:
18 This is how the birth of Jesus the Messiah came about: His mother Mary was pledged to be married to Joseph, but before they came together, she was found to be pregnant through the Holy Spirit. 19 Because Joseph her husband was faithful to the law, and yet did not want to expose her to public disgrace, he had in mind to divorce her quietly.
20 But after he had considered this, an angel of the Lord appeared to him in a dream and said, “Joseph son of David, do not be afraid to take Mary home as your wife, because what is conceived in her is from the Holy Spirit. 21 She will give birth to a son, and you are to give him the name Jesus, because he will save his people from their sins.”

24 When Joseph woke up, he did what the angel of the Lord had commanded him and took Mary home as his wife. 25 But he did not consummate their marriage until she gave birth to a son. And he gave him the name Jesus.

Keep this in mind
The Lord does not necessarily tell you when he is going to speak to you. I was as surprised as Joseph but like him, I embraced what Lord told me. When he speaks he does not tell you things which always seem logical but that is why he is God. And we will always need to use our faith to obey him.
