My car key obeyed

I took my 18 years old Renault Clio to MOT last month and after a few repairs, it passed fine after the retest. I thought that I was sorted for 12 months when realized that the car was shaking when I go over 30 m/h.

I took it to my mechanic who told me that he will have to change the driveshaft. I’m not sure what it was but I had to pay another £40 on the top of £315 I had already paid for the repairs for the MOT.

After 3 days without a car, I finally got it back and rushed to Lidl as I had to do some shopping. When came back to the car it would not start!! The car key would not turn in the barrel. I was thinking what’s going on with this car!!! Is there a ghost or a demon in this car? 🙂 (only joking)

I just did not know what to do so I prayed to the Lord. I said Lord don’t let me in the car park. It was around 5:30 pm on Monday 11 September 2017. Eventually, after this prayer, the car did start and I praised the Lord. I thought that was a minor issue that the Lord had fixed and the car behaved well until Friday of the same week.

My wife went to Tesco and when she came back to the car she had the same issue that I had had on Monday. I told her over the phone to pray because it worked for me but it did not work for her.

I said to myself that I need to go and the car will start. I was pretty confident but the car never started and we had to leave it on Tesco Car Park. I even tried the spare key. Same issue.
The following day I went and tried again but not much progress. The car key would not move at all. That was so annoying!!

We did all we had to do by bus and on foot and that was a bit of change for us.
On Sunday, one of my brother in Christ took me to the Car Park and he puts some oil in the barrel and tried many times. The key would not move at all.
I started to think how much that will cost me to get this fixed I have spent already £355 on this car in 3 weeks.

Monday morning, the Lord spoke to me and suggested to fast all Monday until the evening. He told me “Let’s fast!”. I was not very enthusiastic about it as I knew that I did not have a car and I would have to walk to bible college back and forward so one hour and a half in total and without any food. But the Lord told me “It’s the Spirit who gives life, the flesh profits nothing” John 6v63. I agreed and to be honest it was easier than expected as the Lord was helping me throughout all day.

In college, we started a new lesson about the Holy Spirit and how to walk in his power. I was very excited as I am always eager to walk on this earth as Jesus did and I know it’s possible as he said: “Very truly I tell you, whoever believes in me will do the works I have been doing, and they will do even greater things than these because I am going to the Father.” John 14v12.

The teacher was saying: “because we have the Holy Spirit in us we should walk in his power” and in my spirit I had agreed with this for a long time.

After the last lesson, I made my way back home. I walked for 45mn and I was full of energy when I got home. I did the homework with the kids, shared with the wife what happened in college then once the kids were in bed I told my wife that I am going to get the car.

I walked for almost one hour to reach the car. I was praying in tongues all the way long. When I arrived at Tesco I walked next to the bus stop and a thought came to my mind, “Check what time is the next bus as your car won’t start”. I rebuked this voice knowing that it was not the voice of the Lord.

Then I got in the car. I prayed for a few seconds in tongues then I said with all my heart: “Car key I command you to turn and to never be stuck again, in Jesus’ name!” Then I turned it once, twice, three times and the fourth time the key turned and the car started.

I tried the other key. The car started again! Praise the Lord! Today it’s been four days and I know this issue will not come back because of the power of the word spoken.

“But whoever is united with the Lord is one with him in spirit”

Paul said “But whoever is united with the Lord is one with him in spirit” 1 Corinthians 6v17.

I am united with the Lord and if you are born again, you are too. Now we need to have faith and speak the word that the Lord puts in our hearts. They are creative words, healing words.

The Lord said:

Truly I tell you, if anyone says to this mountain, ‘Go, throw yourself into the sea,’ and does not doubt in their heart but believes that what they say will happen, it will be done for them. Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours.
Mark 11 v 23-24

We are not afraid to say that we believe in the Lord even if we have never seen him. We know how to use our faith to believe in a Lord that we have never seen but many times we become paralysed when we should use our faith to speak against the mountains which come in our ways. Let believe and speak to those mountains and they will be thrown in the sea.
