Many people do not know that scripture and its power and they are living a life dominated by fears, concerns and worries regarding the natural things.

 Many people do know that scripture but still struggle because of worries while the Lord says not to worry about anything.

 The main reason is because we do not believe the Lord when he says: “Seek first his kingdom and his righteousness and all these things will be given to you as well.”

In other words: Our Heavenly Father will give us what we worry about if we seek first his kingdom and his righteousness.

It’s very simple and that’s why many people miss it.

We live in world where the vast majority of people seek first something else than the kingdom of God and his righteousness.

 “What are you seeking first in your life ?”

Are you seeking a job?
A house ?
A spouse ?
Money ?
A church ?
Fame ?
Reconciliation with someone ?
Forgiveness ?
Identity ?
Healing ?
Peace ?
Children ?

There is nothing wrong with all of these. What is wrong is to seek them first.
Some people are seeking many things at the same time  and I was among those people. But when I decided to believe like a child what the Lord said, my focus began to change.

 First I made up my mind that the word of God is true and I chose to believe that all these things would be given to me as well if I were seeking first the kingdom and his righteousness.

 “What means the kingdom and his righteousness so I can seek them ?”

Well! That’s a good start to ask yourself this question.

This a very good start to take 5 minutes to ponder about the statement:  “Seek first his kingdom and his righteousness and all these things will be given to you as well.”

Take the time to pray God to reveal to you what it means to seek first his kingdom.

By doing this, you are allowing yourself to receive and answer from the Lord and his answers are always powerful, full of peace, full of wisdom, full of love, full of joy, full of revelation.

As you take the time to allow the Lord to talk to you about this I can guarantee you that you will hear from him.

“The word of God need to be received by faith, child faith.”

 When I tell to my kids that we are going out tomorrow, they don’t doubt my word but they believe indeed that we are going out tomorrow. If I forget, they will remind me that I said so. If we do not believe what the Lord says we will always be dominated by worries and other stuff.

 If you start by taking 5 minutes to ponder on the Lord’s statement,

  “But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.“

 you will be surprised to see how the word of God is simple but yet so true and so powerful.

This word will become powerful and true in your life only when you will receive it by faith like a child.

By experience I can testify that when I started seeking first the kingdom and his righteousness, my focus began to change. I started to enjoy praying, talking to the Lord and it became something frequent to talk to him.

I started enjoying the scriptures as I was receiving more light and revelation from our  Heavenly Father.

“Wordly things become less important when you seek the kingdom”

My focus started to be shifted from the wordly things to the kingdom of God and Jesus-Christ who is his righteousness.

When your focus is on Jesus, you don’t have the time to worry as he fills you with such a peace that you have to force yourself to worry about something. And I’m not joking!

As you focus on Jesus, you begin to receive, peace, joy, love, longsuffering and all the fruit of the spirit. You begin to receive those things in your soul. You receive them because you synchronize yourself with the Lord and his righteousness. You synchronise yourself with all the treasures of Heaven.

“Seeking the kingdom will magnify God in your life”

The fruit of the spirit begins to flow in your soul, filling yourself with the fullness of God. Your problems will not be like mountains anymore but Jesus will be the Mountain. Your worries will be like stones at the feet of the Mountain.

You mind is being renewed by the word and you begin to notice a difference in your priorities. You begin to realise that your relationship with Jesus is the most important thing in your life. 

It’s the first thing that you should take care of because this is where you will find physical strength to deal with the rest.
Supernatural wisdom to deal with the rest.
Peace to deal with the rest.
Self-control, so you are not trapped in worries therefore you can easily handle the rest.

 Many time as we focus on the Lord truly, things begin to be sorted out by themselves. See my post second attempt and you will see how the Lord provided to us.

Seek first the kingdom.
Seek first Jesus.
