A done deal

There are some important statements like above which should be established in our lives once for all!
We were all away from God, lost in sin, dead in transgressions, blinded by darkness, gratifying the cravings or our sinful nature and following its desires and thoughts.

We were by nature objects of wrath but because of his great love for us, God who is rich in mercy made us alive even we were dead in our transgressions. 

We are alive

We are not dead anymore. We are alive now! Someone will say: “I was not dead. How can he say that I am alive.” Oh, for sure you and I were dead spiritually but because we believed in Jesus when we heard the gospel, God made us alive.

And guess what, he marked us with a seal in him. (Ephesians 1:13). We are in Christ and Christ is in us. It’s not us living anymore but Christ who lives in us. We have been regenerated. He brought us from the kingdom of darkness to the kingdom of light.

When we struggle it’s because our minds are focus on the things of the flesh and of the world. But when we are conscious our identity and position in Christ, we can enjoy the fruit of the Holy Spirit.

Who are we? Children of God.
Where do we live ? In heaven in Christ.
How should we live on earth ? By the Spirit.

The Spirit in us 

The Spirit of the living God in us is a deposit who guarantees our inheritance until the redemption of our bodies. This deposit makes us secured in Christ. Nothing can take Christ away from us.

No suffering.
No pain.
No failure.
No demons.
No angel.
No pastor.
No deceiver.

This deposit in us is not a licence to sin but a power to overcome it

Many use the freedom that we have received in Christ to live according to the flesh. God forbid! Let’s enjoy a life in the Spirit overcoming the sin which lives in our mortal bodies.

There is power in the blood so we can live a successful and prosperous life on earth.

NOTHING SHALL SEPARATE US FROM THE LOVE OF GOD!

I love this statement because:
It gives me strength.
It makes me laugh at the devil when he comes.
It makes me stand again after failure.
It gives me courage when I don’t do it right.
It gives me hope when everything else around says there is no hope.

NOTHING SHALL SEPARATE US FROM THE LOVE OF GOD!
