He watches you

Many times when it’s time to make a decision about such or such direction we are afraid of the unknown.

Sometimes we know that the Lord is with us but because we focus on the unknown, fear comes and we begin to allow any kind of thoughts to drive us away from the word of truth.

The truth is that the Lord loves us and will NEVER let us alone. Praise his name!!! We are righteous by the blood of Christ. We are righteous not because of our own efforts but because we have received the free gift of Grace from the Lord. Alleluia !!!!!!!!!!!

Not only he watches over our way but he also comes with us and that was HIS idea actually. 🙂 Yes, He is the one who gave us the idea…!!!

To will and to act

I love when Paul in his letter to the Philippians was telling them: “For it is God who works in you to will and to act” Philippians 2:13

Woowww! What a statement!

Basically the Lord is telling us through Paul that our desire to do good comes from him.

Our desire to go the right way comes from him.
Our desire to hear from him comes from him.
Our desire to choose the correct direction comes from him.

He works in us to will but also to act.

He gives us the desire but also the strength, the energy to go where he wants us to go.

We too easily forget that as born again believers, we are the body of Christ and a body cannot move without a head. I mean without receiving instructions from the head.

Christ is the head and gives the direction, the body follows (we are the body) and the head goes with the body.  of course 🙂

He gives the direction

Firstly, the Lord gives us the direction in our spirit (our heart) then secondly we have a desire to go to such direction.

Why are you afraid to go ? Why are we afraid to go ? It comes from the Lord!!!

Because sometimes we doubt that it’s the Lord who gave the direction.
Or because we don’t want to be in trouble.
Or because we don’t want to get out of our comfort zone.
Or because we focus on what we don’t have for the journey.
Or because we don’t feel we can finish if we start.

Instead of all these “Or because…” we should just trust the Lord. He is the one who gave us the direction in our hearts. Let’s trust him.

Let’s please him with our faith.

The only way we can please the Lord is by faith. Actually instead of being afraid of going, we should seize the opportunity to please the Lord with our faith.

As you go, you may not be sure of the outcome but you can be sure of one thing: the Lord is with you on that journey. If you trust him, HE WILL make you succeed.
