Under his feet

Not some but All things!

And God place all things under his feet and appointed him to be head over everything for the church, Ephesians 1:22

Praise the Lord for this wonderful revelation! Not one thing or some but things but all things have been placed under Christ’s feet. Continue reading “Under his feet”

Learn to depend

Following the Spirit

When they came to the border of Mysia, they tried to enter Bithynia, but the Spirit of Jesus would not allow them to. So they passed by Mysia and went down to Troas. During the night Paul had a vision of a man of Macedonia standing and begging him, “Come over to Macedonia and help us.” After Paul had seen the vision, we got ready at once to leave for Macedonia, concluding that God had called us to preach the gospel to them. Acts 16:7-10

Praise the Lord for his word!

In his word above, the Lord shows us how walking by the spirit may not always be as smooth as we think with our natural minds. Continue reading “Learn to depend”

For the church

For us

And God placed all things under his feet and appointed him to be head over everything for the church which is his body, the fullness of him who fills everything in every way. Ephesians 1:22-23

Praise the Lord for his word!

Paul is telling the Ephesians that God placed all things under Jesus’ feet and appointed him to be head over everything for “guess who” ?

As I was meditating on this verse I just could not believe it!

Jesus has been placed above everything for the church, his bride so for everyone who has received the spirit of the Living God.

If you are born again you need to know that everything spiritual and material has been placed under Jesus’ feet for you. Continue reading “For the church”

My soul rejoices

Inside of me

And my soul shall rejoice in the LORD; It shall exult in His salvation. Psalm 35:9

Like the psalmist, my soul rejoices because the Spirit of God lives inside of me. Continue reading “My soul rejoices”

Follower or disciple ?

Which one are you?

From this time many of his disciples turned back and no longer followed him.“You do not want to leave too, do you?” Jesus asked the Twelve. John 6:66-67.

This portion of scripture is very interesting as it reveals to us that every disciple is a follower but every follower is not a disciple.

Pray with joy :)

In all my prayers for all of you, I always pray with joy because of your partnership in the gospel since the beginning until now […]. Philippians 1:4-5

Paul says here that he always pray with joy. What a great example to follow!

Knowing that we are saved and in constant fellowship with the Father and the Son through the Spirit should be enough to make our day every morning.

You can

You can start this minute sad and finish it happy
But time… is unable to change who you are

You can feel a little down or walk a bit grumpy
But emotions cannot make you deny who you are

You can think you have failed, have lost time and money
But thoughts cannot even affect who you are

Practice the art of waiting my friend,
Abort the thoughts which tell you to rush
The flow of hastiness in you must end
If you want to enjoy peace and not blush.
Endure the trials, as they will make you grow
Negate quick decisions, made out of fear
Concentrate on Jesus so you do not blow
Embrace the patience and you will see clear.

Commanded to love

Really ?

And now, dear lady, I am not writing you a new command but one we have had from the beginning. I ask that we love one another. And this is love: that we walk in obedience to his commands. As you have heard from the beginning, his command is that you walk in love. 2 John 5-6

I was meditating on the verses above, reading them again and again in my heart when the Lord gave me some light on the link between love and obedience.

You are included

In Christ

And you also were included in Christ when you heard the message of truth, the gospel of your salvation. When you believed, you were marked in him with a seal, the promised Holy Spirit, who is a deposit guaranteeing our inheritance until the redemption of those who are God’s possession—to the praise of his glory. Ephesians 1:1-14

We are included in Christ!

We live in Him and He lives us. We are joined together in Him.

We may feel rejected sometimes by people, communities or even churches.
