Greetings from God

To you

Grace and peace to you from God our Father and the Lord Jesus-Christ. Ephesians 1:2

The apostle Paul always mentioned something like the above in all his letters recorded in the new testament.

Paul knew that he was an ambassador of God on earth and this pattern in all his letters demonstrates it.

From God

You can see that Paul had a close relationship with the Lord. Grace and peace “from God“. He writes as if the Lord was with him physically.

When I am away, visiting brothers and sisters in Christ, before going back home they will transmit greetings through me to other fellow Christians that they know living in my area.

When I am back home I would transmit the greetings saying, “By the way sister, you have the blessings from brother so and so.” And they would say Amen. I was with them physically and that why I could speak that way.

Paul was transmitting the same greetings but from God. Wowwwwww!

Grace and peace to you from God.”

Was he with God physically ? No, but he was conscious of His presence.

The Lord, was He not also with the Corinthians, Galatians, Ephesians, Philippians, Colossians, Thessalonians, and with Timothy, Titus and Philemon ?

Sure he was with them! But Paul was more conscious of the presence of the Lord than the others.

Grace an peace to you from the Lord !

Great relationship

It’s only out of a great relationship with the Lord that someone can speak that way.

The same Paul wrote in 1 Corinthians 6:17 that we are one spirit with the Lord.

This transpires in all his letters. He was never dissociating himself from the Lord. This is why he could say in Galatians 2:20 I no longer live but Christ lives in me.

The Lord helped me a lot through this scripture. He helped me to understand that He lives in me for real and that we are one spirit. I am part of His body!! Yoohoo!!!!

Do you visualize yourself in Christ ?

Because you are in Christ and He is in you.

Do you know that He is the One who inspires you ?

His presence in you affect your thinking as He is the One generating good thoughts in you so you can translate them in the reality by faith.

He whispers

The Lord is always in us and always whispers from our heart which is our spirit. He lives in us through the Holy Spirit who dwells in us.

He whispers only good things to us. He was whispering to Paul and Paul was translating into actions: e.g Preaching of the gospel, writing of letters to build up and encourage.

What is He whispering to you as you read those lines ?

I know he whispered to me to write this blog and I know that He is the one directing people to my page so they can receive what He has prepared for them.

The Lord is real to me and he talk to me everyday. Sometimes I don’t tune in but most of the time I can hear in my heart what he is telling me.

Don’t expect to hear a loud voice talking to you. He whispers with a voice which looks like your voice. That’s why many people think they make up things and that the Lord is not speaking.

What can be challenging is to translate into actions what you hear from the Lord because it requires faith. That’s why we cannot please the Lord without faith.

Develop the relationship

Through the years, Paul developed a great relationship with Lord.

When he wrote the letter of the Galatians he had known the Lord for more than 14 years Galatians 2:1 and for sure he had learned to not trust his 5 senses but only the Lord.

How long have you been saved ?

Are you still afraid of making mistakes or are you trusting the Lord ?
Are you still bound to your 5 senses or are you trusting the Lord ?
Are you walking trusting your sight more than the voice of the Lord ?

The Lord is real and He lives in you.

Trust Him!

Grace and peace to you from the Lord my friend.
