If you don’t believe in the spiritual world in which we are, while being in this physical world, you will find it hard to take what follows in this post.
However, if you have been enlightened and know that what we can perceive through our 5 senses is only a small part of the reality we live in, what follows will make complete sense to you.
We are at war! but few know it and therefore, few embrace it.
“Which war?… We seem to be at peace in most countries today.” someone will say.
The war is not external but internal.
The war is not outside but inside.
The war is not physical but spiritual.
The Lord said through the apostle Paul: “In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one.” Ephesians 6:16
Both weapons (shield and arrow) are spiritual ones, whether you choose to believe it or not.
If you have not been using your shield of faith, that means you have been bombarded by flaming arrows without even knowing it.
Tranquilizers
Have you ever seen on National Geographic, how they use dart guns, to sedate wild animals? They don’t kill them but put them in sleep or ineffective to have better control over them.
This is what the enemy of our souls does every day, 24/7. He throws lies at us, through thoughts to have better control over us.
For example, when you question the existence of God, you don’t even realize how much you have been sedated. When the effect of the sedation starts to go away and you begin to search for real answers, the enemy throws more darts at you make sure to you remain asleep.
“Normal life?”
Now, you know deep inside of you that there is much more than what you are experiencing in life, but the effect of the sedation keeps you in this limbo state so you can remain ineffective.
You just want to carry on a normal life like anybody else. God did not create you for what they call a normal life. He created you for much more than that.
We should be able to heal people, by laying hands on them.
We should be able to work miracles to bring the glory of God on earth.
We should be able to walk on earth like Jesus did, speaking words of wisdom and bringing glory to God through our lives.
Instead, we are happy to live normal lives, not knowing we are like preys, observed and controlled by the one who hides in the spiritual world.
We think we are happy, at peace and we do not contend for anything greater.
My people perish because of lack of knowledge says the Lord through the prophet. Hosea 4:6
Choose Life
The good news is: You don’t have to remain ignorant today.
You can choose to embrace the Truth and use your shield of faith.
You can experience an amazing breakthrough today!
You can allow those words to penetrate your soul and bring real peace to you.
You can allow the Lord to give you that peace that the world cannot give.
Flaming arrows will always be thrown at us but we have our shield of faith. Let’s use our shield of faith and help those who struggle to do so.
