Praise the Lord! We live by faith and not by sight. I know this statement will be overlooked by many, ignored by some but resonate in a few.
Those who know that we live in the world but we are not of it.
Those who know that we are citizens of heaven, on a journey on this earth.
Those for whom it is clear that we are ambassadors of the Light in a world of darkness. Glory to Jesus!
Those who who that we are the salt of the world. Without us, the world does not have savour. Amen!
We know that there is much more than what can see with our natural eyes. Many don’t know that we are spirits embodied to accomplish a mission on earth. We do have natural senses to communicate with the world but most importantly we have spiritual eyes so we can see God. Glory be to Jesus!
We don’t have to be slaves of our 5 senses. We don’t have to bow down to the natural but we need to see the spiritual world within and around us.
This what happened in 2Kings 6:15-17
When the servant of the man of God got up and went out early in the morning, an army with horses and chariots had surrounded the city. So he asked Elisha, “Oh, my master, what are we to do?”
“Do not be afraid,” Elisha answered, “for those who are with us are more than those who are with them.”
Then Elisha prayed, “O LORD, please open his eyes that he may see.”
The servant could not see properly because he could only acknowledge what he was perceiving through his natural eyes. He clearly saw the physical chariots and horses who were against them but he failed to see the spiritual chariots and horses (much more numerous) which were with them.
The Lord is with us, WHO can be against us?
You need to see the glory of God rather than the challenges you are going through in this world.
You need to see the love and the joy rather than the pain and the suffering.
You need to see the healing rather than the sickness.
You need to see the solution rather than the problem.
You need to see life rather than death.
Forgiveness rather than condemnation.
Peace rather than confusion.
Faith rather than fear.
Let us walk by faith and not by sight as breakthroughs are ahead of us.
Be encouraged today.

I’ve loved the Elisha sermon. In life we trust so much on our 5 senses that we fail to see the actual truth and the foundation of life.
Your articles are filled with awareness. I wish I could get all new articles in my mail

Thanks for your comment. True! “We so easily fail to see the actual truth”.
Thanks for the encouragement. I’m in the process of starting a newsletter to email some of them each week.
