Not some but All things!
And God place all things under his feet and appointed him to be head over everything for the church, Ephesians 1:22
Praise the Lord for this wonderful revelation! Not one thing or some but things but all things have been placed under Christ’s feet. Continue reading “Under his feet”
And God placed all things under his feet and appointed him to be head over everything for the church which is his body, the fullness of him who fills everything in every way. Ephesians 1:22-23
Praise the Lord for his word!
Paul is telling the Ephesians that God placed all things under Jesus’ feet and appointed him to be head over everything for “guess who” ?
As I was meditating on this verse I just could not believe it!
Jesus has been placed above everything for the church, his bride so for everyone who has received the spirit of the Living God.
If you are born again you need to know that everything spiritual and material has been placed under Jesus’ feet for you. Continue reading “For the church”

Which one are you?
From this time many of his disciples turned back and no longer followed him.“You do not want to leave too, do you?” Jesus asked the Twelve. John 6:66-67.
This portion of scripture is very interesting as it reveals to us that every disciple is a follower but every follower is not a disciple.

In all my prayers for all of you, I always pray with joy because of your partnership in the gospel since the beginning until now […]. Philippians 1:4-5
Paul says here that he always pray with joy. What a great example to follow!
Knowing that we are saved and in constant fellowship with the Father and the Son through the Spirit should be enough to make our day every morning.

And now, dear lady, I am not writing you a new command but one we have had from the beginning. I ask that we love one another. And this is love: that we walk in obedience to his commands. As you have heard from the beginning, his command is that you walk in love. 2 John 5-6
I was meditating on the verses above, reading them again and again in my heart when the Lord gave me some light on the link between love and obedience.

And you also were included in Christ when you heard the message of truth, the gospel of your salvation. When you believed, you were marked in him with a seal, the promised Holy Spirit, who is a deposit guaranteeing our inheritance until the redemption of those who are God’s possession—to the praise of his glory. Ephesians 1:1-14
We are included in Christ!
We live in Him and He lives us. We are joined together in Him.
We may feel rejected sometimes by people, communities or even churches.

We won’t give up.
Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ loved the church and gave himself up for her to make her holy, cleansing her by the washing with water through the word, and to present her to himself as a radiant church, without stain or wrinkle or any other blemish, but holy and blameless. Ephesians 5:25-27
As husbands and fathers it’s sometimes challenging to lead our families in a godly way where we would demonstrate the love of God which is in us through Jesus-Christ.
They are available
Then the Lord said to Moses, 2 “See, I have chosen Bezalel son of Uri, the son of Hur, of the tribe of Judah, 3 and I have filled him with the Spirit of God, with wisdom, with understanding, with knowledge and with all kinds of skills— 4 to make artistic designs for work in gold, silver and bronze, 5 to cut and set stones, to work in wood, and to engage in all kinds of crafts. Exodus 31:1-5
Praise the Lord!
I am always amazed to see how the Lord is make us able to do things. Here in this scriptures, the children of Israel had just come out of Egypt after 500 years of slavery and God, the Almighty made them able to create the Tabernacle.

Speak in tongues
Anyone who speaks in a tongue edifies themselves, but the one who prophesies edifies the church. 1 Corinthians 14:4
I know this subject has created a lot of misunderstanding in the body of Christ but the word of God remains the Truth even if men struggle to understand and apply it correctly.
The gift of tongues is given to everyone, just as the gift of salvation.

Sing, O barren woman, you who never bore a child, burst into song, you who were never in labour, because more are the children of the desolate woman than of her who has a husband. Isaiah 54:1

In the same way, faith by itself, if it is not accompanied with action is dead. But someone will say, “You have faith; I have deeds.” Show me your faith without deeds and I will show you my faith by what I do. James 1:17-18

Jesus was moved
Jesus called his disciples to him and said, “I have compassion for these people; they have already been with me three days and have nothing to eat. I do not want to send them away hungry, or they may collapse on the way. Matthew 15:32

Sacrifice for Him
Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God—this is your true and proper worship. Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will. Romans 12:1-2
The purpose of sacrifices in the old testament was to purify. Make the unclean become clean. Jesus’ sacrifice took our sins away from us so we can come to God, receive forgiveness and be purified.

For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife, and the two will become one flesh. This is a profound mystery—but I am talking about Christ and the church. Ephesians 5:31-32
Praise the Lord!

At that moment, the curtain of the temple was torn in two from top to bottom. The earth shook and the rocks split. Matthew 27:52
Praise the Lord for his goodness!
What a glorious moment for all mankind, that moment when the curtain was torn in two. That curtain had been designed by the Most High himself and first came to the natural through Bezalel and Oholiab’s works. (Exodus 36:1).
This curtain was called the shielding curtain (Exodus 39:34) because it was separating the Holy Place and the Most Holy Place (Hebrews 9:2-4).
Only the high priest could enter the Most Holy place and only once a year. He would enter the Most Holy place with blood to offer for himself and for the sins the people had committed in ignorance. (Hebrews 9:7). Continue reading “Behind the curtain”

He watches you
For the Lord watches over the way of the righteous but the way of the wicked will perish. Psalm 1:6
Many times when it’s time to make a decision about such or such direction we are afraid of the unknown.
Sometimes we know that the Lord is with us but because we focus on the unknown, fear comes and we begin to allow any kind of thoughts to drive us away from the word of truth.
The truth is that the Lord loves us and will NEVER let us alone. Praise his name!!! We are righteous by the blood of Christ. We are righteous not because of our own efforts but because we have received the free gift of Grace from the Lord. Alleluia !!!!!!!!!!!

We are spiritual beings
For our struggle is not against flesh and blood but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual evil forces in the heavenly realms. Ephesians 6:12
Praise the Lord for his word!
Our heavenly Father decided to make things plain to us so we know how run the correct race during our journey on earth.
Through the apostle Paul, the Lord made it clear that our struggle is not against human beings.
Many time we can get into arguments with work colleagues, family members, neighbors, crazy drivers :), and so on.
How many times we get angry and retaliate in the flesh NOT realizing that we are in fact dealing spiritual forces.
When your wife, husband or your child, say something unpleasant to you how many time we are offended in the flesh ?
How many time we respond in the flesh ?
This is exactly what our enemy wants. Continue reading “Not against humans”
Which knowledge ?
And the Lord God commanded the man, “You are free to eat from any tree in the garden; 17 but you must not eat from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, for when you eat from it you will certainly die.” Genesis 3:16-17
A question which is interesting to ask ourselves is which knowledge Adam and Eve had before eating the fruit knowledge of good and evil ?
If this tree was called tree of knowledge of good and evil it’s not by accident.
The fruit of this tree was opening their knowledge on good and evil, putting them and the same level as God in this area but without the same power to dominate over evil.
And the Lord God said, “The man has now become like one of us, knowing good and evil. He must not be allowed to reach out his hand and take also from the tree of life and eat, and live forever.” Genesis 3:22
The knowledge of good and evil gave them the ability to weigh things and to pronounce their own judgements without being qualified to be judge. Continue reading “Good and evil or God?”
We are his body
And God placed all things under His feet and appointed Him to be head over everything for the church which is his body, the fullness of him who fills everything in every way. Ephesians 1:22-23
It might be challenging for normal minds to imagine that we are the body of Christ in deed. But this means a lot sense to those who are being renewed in their minds by the work of the Living Word through the written word.
We are indeed the body of Christ. All those who are born of the Spirit of the living God are actually members of the body of Christ.
I love this portion of scripture when Jesus called Saul of Tarsus before his conversion.
He said: “Saul, Saul, why are you persecuting me ?” (Acts 9:4)
Paul was actually persecuting the Christians. He was arresting them and sending them in prison but Jesus did not say “why are persecuting my followers or my disciples”.
He said why are you persecuting me? Continue reading “Body of Christ”
Remain in Heaven
Set your minds on things that are above, not on things that are on earth.
If you are born again, your new home is Heaven. You are not going to heaven, you are already seated in the heavenly places in Christ. Ephesians 2:6

We are indeed
He predestined us to be adopted as his sons through Christ Jesus in accordance with his glorious grace which he has freely given us in the One he loves. Ephesians 1:5
We have been adopted! Wow!
We were orphans on this earth not knowing where to go and what to do but now we have been adopted as sons and daughters of God.
The Father is so generous that his adoption scheme is opened to everybody at anytime until the Return of Jesus. (But nobody knows when he will come back.)
Except for Jesus, all of us came to the earth through natural fathers and we praise the Lord for them as we would not have come here without their cooperation. Continue reading “Sons of God”
Wisdom and revelation
I keep asking the God of out Lord Jesus-Christ, the glorious Father that he may give you the spirit of wisdom and revelation that you may know him better.
Praise the Lord!
Paul writes here to the Ephesians and tell them that he keeps asking God to give them something that they need so they can know God better.
There is a desire to know God better. Paul himself has received the spirit of wisdom and revelation and he knew the Lord better in deed.
Paul had something that they Ephesians don’t have. He has a better knowledge of God than them.
I thank our heavenly Father for men like Paul who once knew that something was good and he wanted other also to know it. Paul had received the spirit of wisdom and revelation that he was talking about or he would not have been asking God to give it to them. Continue reading “Know him better”
A done deal
For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord. Romans 8:38-39
There are some important statements like above which should be established in our lives once for all!
We were all away from God, lost in sin, dead in transgressions, blinded by darkness, gratifying the cravings or our sinful nature and following its desires and thoughts.
We were by nature objects of wrath but because of his great love for us, God who is rich in mercy made us alive even we were dead in our transgressions. Continue reading “Nothing shall separate”
In the garden
I love the atmosphere of intimacy and trust which was reigning in Eden.

Speak to your soul
Praise the Lord, my soul; all my inmost being, praise his holy name.
Praise the Lord, my soul, and forget not all his benefits—Psalm 103:1-2
David in this psalm was speaking to himself as he was going through a difficult time.
I’m sure he was not feeling to praise the Lord but he knew in himself that the Lord was there and was with him.
The Lord is always there for everyone of us.
He has already forgiven everyone of us.
He loves everyone of us.
His spirit has been poured out for everyone of us.
There is joy in abundance in him through his spirit for everyone of us.

And Elisha prayed, “Open his eyes, LORD, so that he may see.” Then the LORD opened the servant’s eyes, and he looked and saw the hills full of horses and chariots of fire all around Elisha. 2 Kings 6:17
You certainly came across this story in the old testament. The prophet and his servant were surrounded by an army with chariots. Elisha’s servant had his natural eyes opened but his spiritual eyes were closed.
It’s not that he did not have spiritual eyes. He did have them. They were part of him. They were working properly but they were closed. Continue reading “Open his eyes!”
This is where I belong and where I dwell now.
My ancestors had been put out of the garden because of disobedience and they had been cut off from the source of life.

Shining in darkness
Praise the name of our Father in heaven who delivered us from darkness.
We were blind, in bondage, following the train of this world.
We were slaves, under the dominion of the deceiver.
The one who came to steal, kill and destroy.
We were afraid of him. We were like preys in his chains, serving him not knowing who we were.
He has been dominated this world for such a long time that we ended up living in his ways, in darkness. Continue reading “Children of light”
In the Spirit
I met Sister Donia during my Pentecostal experience and I am so glad The Lord brought her in my life. She is an old widow from Africa, living with her son and her niece. She spends all her time in the scriptures, in prayer and in fasting, trusting the Lord for every single thing in her life. And it works!
She is always in the Spirit. Always seeking for the Lord, always seeking for a revelation and her entire life is full miracles and amazing testimonies. The Lord taught me a lot through her.

Sister Donia was married to an adulterous non believer man and this situation led her to the Continue reading “Mighty woman”
All about persistence
In April 2017, I began to feel the desire to put myself available for the Lord again. I knew I had done it before and it had not worked out as I was expecting. But I also knew that I had learned humility and I was willing to learn more with the Lord.
I was working full-time as an IT Analyst. My work contract was going to terminate end of May but I had the opportunity to apply for a permanent role. Even if I was afraid of being ashamed as I felt in 2015 (shame then glory), I knew that the Lord had taken care of me and would always do so.
I spoke to my team leader and notified to her that I was not going to apply for the Continue reading “Second attempt”
Nothing is wasted
In March 2015, I was listening to some tapes of Charles Finlay about revival and I began to feel an urge to put myself available for God. I was still working at the Law firm where I met Fermina but I knew that when the Lord calls you, he takes care of you.
He told us: “But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well” Matt 6v33.
We eventually sold our second house in France I knew we were going to have some money in. I spoke to my pastor about leaving my job and putting myself available for God but he thought it was not a good idea. Continue reading “Shame then Glory”
Spirit and Works
One day, my wife handed to me a leaflet for a Christian concert with rap music, reggae and so on. I was not deeply moved to go as I still had painful memories regarding Rap with Christ.
For some reason she was insisting that I should go as I would like it. So I eventually went with our daughter with me. She was 7 at the time. I really enjoyed this concert! There were around 30 people in a hotel but I was impressed to hear the youth testifying about Christ and what he did for us at the cross. They were so young but yet so bold!
I had a nice chat with the pastor at the end of the concert and I was enthusiastic about what they were doing. They were strong on evangelism and discipleship. Basically the concept was 1) Reaching people with the gospel, 2) Disciple them in Jesus’ way, 3) Release them as pastors so they can “reproduce” themselves. Continue reading “Pentecostal Experience”
Giving to the Lord
In June 2013, I made a step of faith in the area of finances. This changed my way of thinking and my approach when it comes to finances.
I remember hearing my pastor preaching on tithing and that was quite new for me. I was born in the spirit in a Baptist church and they were preaching to give according to what the Lord put on your heart.
My pastor in the pentecostal church was telling me that we rob the Lord when we don’t give 10% of what we earn and I was challenged by this. I went to my bible but I could not find a scripture supporting that statement in the new testament.
It’s about trust
However I noticed that I was afraid to give 10% of my salary and I knew that this fear Continue reading “Trusting for finances”

I was saved in a Baptist Church in 2002 but since I was baptised in the Spirit in January 2012, denomination was not an issue for me. I was more interested in hearing from the Lord and go wherever he would send me and do whatever he would like me to do.
After three days in Belfast, I found a room to rent in a house in the Ravenill Avenue in East Belfast. I was praying the Lord to show me in which church to go on Sunday. Darkness before light
The year 2011 was full of important events for me. My wife became pregnant early in February which was a good news!!! I was praying the Lord for a boy as we already had a five years old girl; but I was quite flexible and would be happy whatever gender it was going to be.
We had moved to a bigger house but we had some works to do on the first floor to extend the house.
Meanwhile I was looking another job closer to our new house. The journeys between home and work had become very tiring. Over one hour by car. Over two hours by transport. I was exhausted!! Continue reading “Number 11”
