Wrong perceptions
Wrong perceptions will lead us to wrong conclusions.
All the information we get from the physical world around us is processed by our mind which is the place of conception of our beliefs.

Self-control
Self-control is a fruit of the spirit and its seeds dwell in you. The spirit of God will produce self-control in you if you tune in the mind of the Lord. Your body might be shouting and crawling under emotions but you are the decision-maker.
You might feel you have to obey what you feel but the truth is you can harness your emotions.
Silent power
It’s so easy to go through life without coming to the knowledge that we are spirit. I know, I’ve been talking about this a lot lately but I guess that the Lord leads me that way for a purpose.
I find this very interesting that the most important part of our being (the spirit) is not the most prominent one.
Missing the mark?
We are fully forgiven! This is the truth that is revealed to us in the word of God.
The Holy Spirit said: “..that God was reconciling the world to Himself in Christ, not counting men’s trespasses against them. And He has committed to us the message 2 Corinthians 5:19
Therefore we are all forgiven, regardless ANYTHING bad we did or are still doing. This might sound shocking for many but this is the truth from the word of God.
Words are carriers
We saw yesterday, how the word is alive and indeed words are carriers.
They carry encouragement of discouragement.
They carry comfort or distress, relief or pain, joy or sadness, peace or strife, positivity or negativity.
They carry life or death.
What do you convey when you speak? What are your words carrying to yourself and others?…
Living word
Take to 30 seconds. Breath in. Breath out. then ponder on those two words: “Living word”
The word is alive and very much so. The word lives and can give life to those who receive it. The word is alive in your heart and when you release it, becomes alive in the world around you.
Do you realize the power of this word that lies in your heart?
Garden to garden
Two powerful decisions were made in 2 gardens.
The first decision was made in Eden when Adam and Eve chose independence over relationship.
The second decision was made in Gethsemane when Jesus chose reconciliation through suffering until death. The first decision was going to take away mankind’s freedom and put all the human race under the dominion of evil.
The second decision was going to disarm the power of evil over men and lead all the human race to a place of freedom in God…
Watch your thinking
As a man thinks in his heart so is he. Proverbs 22:7
We often underestimate or minimise the power of the thoughts we dwell on. The mind is like a machine always processing a thought.
Even when we are not thinking about anything specific, our mind is at work and it won’t be long before we start focusing on a thought. We move from thought to thought and they come to us like waves.
Part of Him
Jesus said: “I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing.” John 15:5
He is the vine and we are the branches.
This is so deep! When I took the time to ponder on that statement, I found out that we are much more than we appear to be.
Vine & branches
I was discussing with my friend yesterday, sat down outside a coffee when I had what many call a “God moment”. That was just awesome and it is still wonderful after a few hours of sleep.
Thank you, Lord, for revealing yourself to those who diligently seek your face.
Many don’t realize how connected we are connected to God…
All Ways
One of my favourite verses in the bible is when Jesus said: “And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age” Matthew 28.20
Always means All Ways.
It does not matter where you are heading, Jesus is with you.
It does not matter what mood I am in this morning, Jesus is with me.
You might have wronged someone yesterday, Jesus is with you.
I dropped the ball with my spouse this morning, Jesus is with me.
I don’t feel to pray this morning, Jesus is me.
You don’t feel to open your bible today, Jesus is with you.
You struggle to make this phone call, Jesus is with you.
I go to holidays away from my church, well, Jesus is with me.
All things
It seems obvious to start by the foundations when you build a house or anything that is supposed to last a long time.
We often struggle to do so with our lives.
Someone may say: “Well, I did not build my foundations! My parents or carers did!”
We know that children can experience traumatic experiences that can mark them for the rest of their lives. Child abuse, death of parents, illnesses, disabilities and so on, you name it.
Ruwach (pronounced roo’-akh)
This Hebrew word means “wind”, “breath” or “spirit”. This is what God breathed in Adam, in the beginning. He breathed Himself into a body made of dirt, then man became a living soul. Without this Ruwach or Spirit of the living God, Adam would have been an immobile body, forever laying on the ground.
Flaming arrows
Obviously, if you don’t believe in a spiritual world in which we are, while being in this physical world, you will find hard to take what follows in this post.
However if you have been enlightened and know that what we can perceive through our 5 senses is only a small part of the reality we live in, what follows will make complete sense to you.
Power of the tongue
The Lord tells us in Proverbs 18:21 that death and life are in the power of the tongue. This small part of the body is actually a very powerful tool that can be used either to build up or to destroy.
Many do not realise how much their confessions lead their lives.
Repeatedly saying things like: “I’m so stupid” or “I never understand…” will in fact lead you to place where you end up believing that you are stupid and never understand.
Fully forgiven 2/2
Then, the bible records humanity’s ups and down following Adam & Eve’s disobedience. God could have said: “Well, this did not work out, I’m just gonna destroy everything and start another brand new humanity.” but he did not.
Instead he stuck with his creation, having chosen a day where everything will become new. God is love so even if he was angry against his creation, he chose to forgive us and to reconcile humanity to himself…..
Fully forgiven 1/2
Praise the Lord! We are fully forgiven there is charge against us.
Someone might say: “I have not done anything wrong, why should I be forgiven. Forgiven for what?”
Well! You are not on your own on this earth because you chose to come to this earth. You are on this earth because because you have been sent. You did not choose you birth day, or you parents, or the country in which you were going to be born, do you?
Real Power
Men can fake many things with great style and skills. Sometimes those fake things are so well done that you think they are real.
Remember what happened when Moses threw his stick on the ground in pharaoh’s presence at the palace.
Traditions vs Faith
We all know the apostle Paul’s influence on Christianity and the depth of his relationship with Jesus still impacts many today.
The Holy Spirit keeps moving in human lives and brings Paul’s scriptures before us to give us understanding. Before his radical conversion, Paul was heavily involved in traditions rather than faith.
Citizenship
The truth is you are a citizen of heaven, you just need to believe and you will see it.
From heaven, In heaven
Many think that we are going to heaven. Few realise that we are already in heaven.
Like Uriah
Stand firm! But Uriah slept at the entrance to the palace with all his master’s servant and did not go down to his house. 2 Samuel 11:9 Alleluia! I was praying when in tongues yesterday, when the Lord gave me the scripture reference 2 Samuel 11:9. I opened my bible and read the scripture above.
