Next to the house
I was saved in the Baptist Church in 2002 but since I was baptised in the Spirit in January 2012, denomination was not an issue for me. I was more interested in hearing from the Lord and go wherever he would send me and do whatever he would like me to do.
After three days in Belfast, I found a room to rent in a house in the Ravenill Avenue in East Belfast. I was praying the Lord to show me in which church to go on Sunday. There are so many churches in Belfast! Each 100 meters or so you have one and it’s not a joke! Continue reading “Methodist friends”
All was planned
I had been in Northern Ireland for 6 months on my own and my wife and the kids were supposed to join me for good in January 2013. Before this they came for a taste of Belfast during the Christmas period. They enjoyed the city and my Methodist friends.
After new year’s eve, they were supposed to fly back to France on the 1st of January 2013 but we were 2 minutes late at the airport and they would not let us check in.
I was so angry! For 2 minutes! I was arguing with some members of the company but they would not let them go.
Then I was arguing with wife blaming her because they spent too much time to get ready. She was blaming me because I knew we were late and I did not take a taxi but instead I still waited for the bus. We were blaming each other but it was too late to change this. On 23rd February 2012, I was going to meet my cousin as he was going to introduce me to a friend of his who was selling a car. That was a Ford Mondeo and the price was really low. I had a Citroen Xantia before which had given me a lot of headaches and I was so excited to move on.
With my wife and our two children, we travelled over two hours to meet them. My son was only four months. Eventually I was happy with the car. My cousin’s friend had done the MOT the same day so we signed the papers, handed the money and after a quick coffee we started our journey back home. Continue reading “In a dream”
When I was in the Caribbean, with my friend and two other members we started a rap band called “Warriors”. Norbert was the one introducing us to this type of music. I then discovered the Wu Tang Clan, Killah Priest, Killarmy and some French rappers also like IAM, NTM, Oxmo Puccino, Arsenik and so on.
I developed a passion for writing rap songs. It was a good way to express what I had inside of me. Even if we were ambitious and I think talented, we never made a serious step to produce something like an album or to organize a local gig. I wrote my first rap song in 1997.
I left the Caribbean two years later with this seed of writing rap songs inside me. When Norbert joined me in Paris in 2000 both of us had improved a lot. Our texts were more mature and deeper. Continue reading “Rap with Christ”
A special day
This 19th January 2012 around 3pm was definitely a big turn in my journey on Earth as I began to walk in the power of my heavenly Father.
A few months earlier the Lord had arranged for me to make contact with my friend Norbert that I had not seen for 7 years.
He was my friend for many years as we grew up together in the Caribbean then we move to France with 1 year interval, me before him after.
We shared many deep experiences together good and bad. We were born in the Spirit around the same period too.

It was hidden!
I had a “friend” that I will call Giovanni for confidentiality purposes. We went to school together for three years in the Caribbean and we used to mess around together. I mean, a lot!
Like every human being my natural tendency was to do evil and Giovanni was helping me to translate this natural tendency into reality.
From smoking to stealing things from people, I was introduced to a life when evil was at the center.
Praise the Lord, I gave my life to Jesus a few years after and I know that my sins were forgiven! I am washed by the blood of the lamb. Continue reading “Lesson of forgiveness”
Darkness before light
The year 2011 was full of important events for me. My wife became pregnant early in February which was a good news!!! I was praying the Lord for a boy as we already had a five years old girl; but I was quite flexible and would be happy whatever gender it was going to be.
We had moved to a bigger house but we had some works to do on the first floor to extend the house.
Meanwhile I was looking another job closer to our new house. The journeys between home and work had become very tiring. Over one hour by car. Over two hours by transport. I was exhausted!! Continue reading “Number 11”
